Protégé 4.0 alpha

The new Protégé 4.0 editor developed by CO-ODE, in collaboration with Stanford Medical Informatics, reimplements a familiar interface on top of the defacto-standard OWL API.

The current release of Protégé 4.0 is available directly from the Protégé website.
Please take time to register with them as this helps understand who is using the tool and supports their funding.

Many plugins are already available for Protégé 4.0.

Status

Build 56 is the final version to sit on top of the Java Plugin Framework (JPF). All more recent releases are using one of several OSGi compatible plugin frameworks.

We believe in the "release early" mentality. Please bear in mind that all plugins are prototype alpha software and are under active development.
